This is a BIG week for our Hawks as they will be playing South Plains College on a LIVE national platform being the NJCAA/ESPN+ Game of the Week!!
Game Day Thursday – January 12th **FREE admission**
“Black Out The Dorothy”: All fans wear black in support of the Hawks! We have “Black Out The Dorothy” t-shirts that will be given away to the first 200 fans at the game!
John Weeks Recognition: 5:15pm For those of you who may not know, John Weeks had a storied career as a basketball official and has been a big part of Howard College athletics as well as WJCAC basketball. We will be honoring him for his contribution to our program and that of the national and WJCAC programs as well. You won’t want to miss this!
Women Tipoff: 5:30pm GO HAWKS!!
Hula-Hoop Contest: Between the women’s and men’s game. First 20 contestants that arrive to the designated area will be given a shot at the Hula-Hoop championship! All ages are encouraged to participate! Hawk Swag to the winners!
Men Tipoff: 7:30pm (Approximately) GO HAWKS!!
Sweetwater Jump Rope Team: If you haven’t had a chance to watch the Sweetwater Jump Rope Team before, you’re in for a treat! They will be performing during half-time of each game!
Concessions: Cash only concession stands will be open with a wide variety of offerings to include chicken sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs, ceviche nachos, popcorn and other traditional concession stand offerings. You can definitely have dinner while enjoying a fun family night at the games!
