BIG SPRING, Texas — Coahoma’s Kian Mulkey ran a 14 minute, 35 second race to capture a spot in the top ten competitors at the Eric Stinson cross country invitational on Saturday.
Mulkey placed 10th out of a large field of runners. Also competing for the Bulldogs were: Ricky Rodriguez (15:34), Kamdyn Martinez (15:59), Alex Porter (16:06), Aiden Grainger (16:19), Hayden Walker, (17:45), Dante Requejo (19:08), Bryson Taylor (20:20), and Oscar Buentello (20:22).
In the girls race, Riley Aguilar finished 13th with a time of 17 minutes, 7 seconds. Race times for the rest of the Bulldogette team were: Channing Musgrove (18:01), Lizzie Mashburn (19:50), Allison Mesta (20:19), Ally Bose (22:12), and Kylee Diffee (22:46).
Next up: The CJHS cross country team will have a break before heading back into action On Sept. 30, at the Big Spring Invitational Meet.
