MIDLAND, Texas — The Coahoma Junior High cross-country team kicked off their season with a strong showing at the Tall City Invitational on Saturday morning. The young Bulldogs and Bulldogettes competed against a large field of runners.
Bulldogs Finish Strong
Kinzler Grant led the boys' team, finishing in 43rd place with a time of 14:22.81. The Bulldogs had two other runners break the 15-minute mark in the 3200-meter race: Nico Bose (14:25.81) in 45th place and Travis McKiski (14:38.96) in 56th.
Rounding out the team's performance were:
Abel Rodriguez, 69th place (15:16.06)
Isaac Ornelas, 77th place (15:40.44)
Rayce Roberts, 79th place (15:43.30)
Riley Long, 98th place (17:04.54)
Delossantos Paces Bulldogettes
On the girls'team side, Thamar Delossantos was the first Bulldogette to cross the finish line, placing 35th with a time of 16:08.44. Ausiana Jackson and Paislee Upshaw also had solid races, finishing in 49th place (16:59.64) and 79th place (19:46.43), respectively.
