Coahoma ISD

We are so excited about some technology upgrades happening this year at CISD! Every classroom teacher will receive a MacBook Air, @apple TV and flat screen TV to replace the desktops,  projectors and smart boards that have outlasted their life cycles. This technology allows for teacher mobility around the classroom and increased student involvement. Mrs. Valencia (@katiethetxteacherlady) had several students utilize the new set up in a recent assignment about the Holocaust. Christian Everett used Storyjumper to create a digital dictionary that can be downloaded as a PDF or a hard copy book. Emajin Braxton created a virtual Auschwitz on Minecraft using her @nintendo switch. Other projects included sewing, fake snow and snow machines. We were so impressed! Great job!
