The Grady Wildcats rallied in the fourth quarter to surge past the Bulldogs for a 43-48 win on Tuesday night.

The Wildcats erased Coahoma’s eight-point lead in the fourth quarter, but the Bulldogs didn’t give up the game easily.

With 18 seconds left, senior Isaiah Martin nailed a 3-point basket (43-45) to give Coahoma one last chance for the win, but the Bulldogs were not able to capitalize. The Wildcats' tough defense kept Coahoma at bay, and were able to force the Bulldogs to foul which padded their lead by three more points before the final buzzer sounded.

Martin led Coahoma in points amassing 16 including two 3-point goals. D’Kota Harrison also scored in the double digits including a 3-pointer in the third quarter. The CHS senior tallied 11 points for the night.

Next: Coahoma (0-2) hosts Eldorado for a non-district game on Friday. The JV plays at 5 p.m. and varsity takes the floor at 6:30 p.m. Both games are at the CES competition gym.
